About This Design
A 10×10 footprint is enough to shade a small patio table or a fire pit circle without crowding the yard around it. Every rafter, post, and knee brace on this open-lattice plan is sized by the same engineering ruleset (ADR 027) that backs our attached pergolas — nothing here is a scaled-down approximation.
Set it on a poured slab or an existing pad and there is no wall framing at all: just posts, beams, and rafters, ready for a trained vine or a string of lights.
