    Several new options are now available for your shed design: window grilles, gutters and downspouts, loft stairs, windows on dormer faces, and additional chicken coop items — all reflected in your 3D view, drawings, permit set, and cost estimate.

    End rafters, knee braces, and blocking are now built and shown more accurately, and permit drawings include end rafters.

    Building codes applied automatically by location

    When you enter a project address, the applicable state, county, and local building codes are now resolved and locked in automatically, so pricing and permit documents always reflect the correct rules for that jurisdiction.

    Pergola stain, rafter joints, and tail styles

    You can now choose a stain color and rafter tail style for pergolas, and the 3D view shows the finished framing with accurate joints, bolts, and wood grain.

    Labor costs now priced per worker, not per crew

    Labor quotes now reflect the actual cost per individual worker, so your estimates and final bills match what you really pay.

    Framing requirements now reflect local code adoption

    Window and door framing calculations now account for your jurisdiction's adopted code edition, so the king-stud and full-height stud requirements shown match what your local building department actually enforces.

    Existing foundations no longer priced as new work

    If your site already has a foundation in place, it will no longer be included as a cost in your quote.

    Export your design as a 2D CAD file

    You can now download your design as a DXF or SVG file, ready to open in any CAD application.

    You can now download a 2D DXF file of your design for use in any CAD application.

  3. New

    Designs can now sit on an existing foundation

    You can specify that a structure will be built on an existing gravel pad, piers, or slab, and the pricing, anchorage spec, and permit drawings all reflect that — no new pour assumed.

    Connect third-party AI agents to your account

    AI agents and automation tools can now connect to your account securely using OAuth, with your explicit consent, to read designs, make changes, and send messages on your behalf.

    Metric units available across the app

    You can now switch to metric units and see dimensions, chat answers, and issued documents all in the unit system you chose.

    Building weight shown in the Cost tab

    Your project's estimated total weight now appears in the Cost tab, covering framing, sheathing, roofing, doors, windows, finishes, fixtures, porches, and ramps.

    Assistant understands your app context

    The assistant now knows which part of the app you're working in and can navigate the app on your behalf, without being able to make purchases for you.

    Click a model part to jump to its editor

    Clicking any part of the model now automatically opens and holds the section that lets you edit it, and the panel stays open even as the screen updates.
